Invisalign straightens your teeth without the use of metal wires or brackets by using a series of clear removable aligners.
Dr. Avina’s knowledge and 3-D computer imaging technology are used to create the aligners.
Each set of aligners is worn for around 2 weeks, except for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.
Your teeth will progressively move – little by little, week by week – as you replace each aligner in the sequence until they have straightened to the final position specified by Dr. Avina.
You’ll visit Dr. Avina about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
Total treatment time ranges between 9 and 15 months, and the typical number of aligners worn throughout treatment ranges between 18 and 30, however, both will vary from case to case.
