Invisalign
Invisalign is the most well-known brand of clear aligners on the market. While there are great alternatives to Invisalign, the predictability, reputation, and strong brand identity makes it the most popular option for many patients. Invisalign straightens your teeth without the use of metal wires or brackets by using a series of clear removable aligners. Each set of aligners is usually worn for 1 week, at least 22 hours a day, except for eating, brushing, and flossing. Your teeth will progressively move – little by little, week by week – as you replace each aligner in the sequence until they have straightened to the final position. You’ll come back to the office every couple of weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned and to make necessary adjustments depending on the treatment plan. Duration of treatment will vary based on the number of trays needed to obtain the desired outcome. Treatment can take anywhere from 3 months to over a year. Once treatment is completed you will receive retainers to help keep your teeth in a desired position.
