After Cosmetic Reconstruction

As you go through life, people notice your smile the most. It reveals a lot about your personality. A healthy smile boosts your self-esteem and influences how others perceive you. A lovely, bright smile has the potential to open doors and lead you to your desired destination. Dr. Avina is also a highly skilled cosmetic dentist in San Diego, CA. Who is dedicated to giving you a smile makeover that will increase your self-esteem and confidence?

At Radiant Dental, we recognize how important appearance is in today’s world. Cosmetic dentistry can give you a bright, dazzling smile that will help you create the finest first impression.

We can help you regain your healthy, vital appearance if your teeth have been damaged or discolored, are out of alignment, or are missing. We are here to assist you with complete dental procedures to correct whatever is preventing you from having a wonderful smile. You no longer have to be self-conscious or hide your smile. We are committed to providing our patients with the beautiful smiles they deserve.

Our top priority is to ensure that you have the best dental health possible. We provide services to help you feel good about your smile. The Radiant Dental team is composed of trained specialists, ensuring that your oral health is in the best possible hands. Our goal is to ensure that our patients attend as few appointments as possible by offering a wide range of general dentistry services and treatments. This two-tiered approach is intended to reduce expenses while enhancing treatment effectiveness. We also provide emergency dentistry to our patients for those times when oral health problems strike unexpectedly.

After Crown and Bridge Appointments

Food must be sufficiently broken down for optimal nutritional absorption in your body. Our patients have even informed us that they have swallowed meals that have not been adequately chewed, compromising their digestive health. Missing teeth can also cause speech problems and distort your appearance, making you appear older.

A temporary crown may occasionally fall off. If this occurs, please contact us and bring the temporary crown with you so we can re-cement it. It is vital that the temporary be kept in place since it prevents other teeth from moving and affecting the fit of your final treatment.

If your smile has been damaged by trauma or decay, we can help you restore it with tooth-colored fillings or dental crowns. All of our restorations are custom-made to fit exactly, so they feel as good as they look. You can rely on us to perform pain-free root canal procedures to save badly infected teeth. Your smile will always look and feel beautiful thanks to our dentist’s skillful hands and our commitment to providing you with the best quality dentistry.

Following each appointment, it is common to experience some temperature and pressure sensitivity. The sensitivity should go away a few weeks after the final restoration is placed. Mild pain relievers may also be prescribed by our office.

Please contact us if your bite feels uneven, if you are experiencing persistent pain, or if you have any other questions or concerns.

After Composite Fillings (white fillings)

When you have cavities in your front teeth, filling material that does not match the color of your teeth can sometimes make them look worse. Every time, our composite fillings are an exact match. They are constructed of plastic and ceramic or plastic and glass and are suitable for anterior restorations that preserve your teeth looking natural.

It is common to feel some warmth, cold, and pressure sensitivity following your dental filling treatment. Injection sites can also be painful. To relieve soreness, take one tablet of ibuprofen (Motrin), Tylenol, or aspirin every 3-4 hours as needed. If your pressure sensitivity lasts more than a few days or your sensitivity to hot or cold grows, call our office to see one of our dentists right away.

Because your composite fillings are fully set when you leave the office, you can chew on them as soon as the anesthetic anesthesia wears off.

If your bite is uneven, you experience recurrent pain, or you have any other questions or concerns, please contact us at Radiant Dental Arts Phone Number (858) 350-0337.
