When the teeth are in good condition in comparison to the base material of your denture, our dentists may recommend rebasing. Rebasing refers to the process of replacing the old acrylic denture base without replacing the teeth to improve stability. If your dentures are old or damaged, you will need to have them rebased. A rebase is similar to relining. The rebase, on the other hand, does not replace the lining. It only substitutes the pink-acrylic denture base material.
